Thanks to the 2-day donation booth set up by CSSA@UCI , we oversea Chinese students have a way to express our concern and our helping wish about the horrifying earthquake. It's said that in the first half day, over $10,000 was collected. Good job, Chinese students!
By the way, a few years ago, a teacher said in a class that when there's a disaster in the Chinese community, people from other countries donate more money than Chinese people do. However, according to what I see today, I'm proud to say that that is not true.
