Our hotel room

In the evening, after checking in the hotel, we went to a restaurant in Dōtonbori (道頓堀) to eat pork steak, sitting on a tatami floor. I don't understand why Japanese people like to sit on tatami. It's so painful. It's understandable that you sit on the floor before chairs were invented, but nowadays chairs are so easy to be made.

There are many featured restaurants of Japanese cuisine in Dōtonbori. This picture shows a featured crab restaurant.

After dinner, we took a walk around Shinsaibashi (心斎橋), a big shopping area.
