After lunch, Dan and I took the Mist Trail to see the Vernal Fall (3 miles/4.8 km round-trip, 1000 ft/366 m elevation gain).

When Dan was taking pictures by the Emerald Pool (the root of the fall), a woman told us that a guy fell into the pool and was dragged down the fall and died when walking by the pool.

Yosemite is a dangerous place. At Glacier Point, 5 people have died when trying to take a picture on a rock on the edge of a cliff.

AT&T cellphone has full signal on top of the fall, while cellphones of other carriers have little signal around the whole national park, although AT&T's signal is bad in Irvine.
