Yosemite Falls is the highest measured waterfall in North America. The 1430-foot (425-m) plunge qualifies the Upper Fall alone as one of the twenty highest waterfalls in the world. We took the Upper Yosemite Fall trail (7.2 miles/11.6 km round-trip, 2700 ft/823 m elevation gain) to the top of the upper fall.
