Had lunch and watched 2 movies with 2 Korean friends Han and Chunha there. Lunch was good and affordable, although I had thought it would be very expensive. The movies were good, too.
Sometimes I feel southern California is a boring place. Green trees and grass, they are all the same everywhere. All houses and streets are the same. Beaches? They are the same as well. Newport, Corona del Mar, Dana Point's beach, and other beaches by the Pacific Coast Highway. What's the exact difference between these beaches? Ocean waves hit the beaches and the rocks everyday. Moreover, the weather is sunny everyday. So in the SPEAK test, when the computer asks about the weather, I can answer it's sunny without thinking. Then I remember the supervisor told us not to just say "it's sunny" but to describe the weather more. So I make some stuff up: it's breezy, the temperature is about 70 degrees, blah, blah, blah...
