  1. Every even integer greater than 2 can be written as the sum of two primes.

  2. Statements in this box are all false.

Assume the 2nd statement in the box to be true. Then all the statements in the box, including the 2nd statement, are false, which contrasts our assumption.

Hence, the 2nd statement has to be false, which indicates at least one statement in the box is true. Since the 2nd one is false, the 1st one has to be true.

Therefore, every even integer greater than 2 can be written as the sum of two primes.

Hint: the 1st statement can be replaced with any statement you want to prove.
