Yesterday, the state was:

Today, when I opened and read the letter, the state collapsed and became |pass>. English is a weird language. When I read "It is my pleasure to inform you that", I could tell it's a good news, even though I hadn't read what I was going to be informed.
I miss the night when we just finished the quals. Jihao, ShaWei and I took a bus to a Chinese restaurant to have dinner. And then we went to Wendong's place to chat and drink.
After the quals, we will have much less excuse to get together. We start taking different courses this quarter. After class, we are doing different stuff. Jihao and Wendong go to the gym a lot to be stronger. Wendong is also looking for his Mrs. Right. ShaWei is planning her 2nd New York trip. I? I don't know what I'm really doing. Maybe just eating and sleeping. Maybe watching some old movies and being sentimental about those old scenes. Maybe I should find an advisor and start my research soon.
