Finished the last one - stat. mech. - this afternoon.
Before the exam, I had read both the lecture notes and the Pathria book about Bose-Einstein condensation for several times, but I still couldn't understand it. So during the exam I just gave up the B-E condensation problem and left it blank. However, at 3:30, when the exam should end, the professor didn't tell us to stop. Since it's open-book and I had finished other problems, I started to read Pathria about B-E condensation. At 3:35, I suddenly seemed to understand. Amazingly, the professor said, "5 minutes left."
So I wrote the problem as fast as I could, and finished that problem at 3:40, when the professor told us to stop. Hope I did it right.
Anyway, final's done. Played a little pingpong afterwards and some poker tonight. Fun!
