Found in the title of USTC's BBS that it's Laba (Dec. 8th) today (Beijing time). Oh, it's winter now. Yes, now it's winter quarter, so of course it's winter, but I totally forgot, because the weather is still so warm everyday, just like fall. Irvine's climate is perfect.
